The Guard

Children's Christian Author Stephanie Plain Potter

Life presents so many new and interesting challenges every day.  Thus, one has to decide what will occupy one’s heart and mind.

Proverbs 4:23 warns to guard the heart with all diligence for out of it flows the issues of life.

As parents, we have a greater responsibility.  We must not only guard our hearts but our children’s hearts to keep them away from negativity and to preserve their innocence of childhood.

My children are my heart.  When they hurt, I hurt.  Therefore, I guard who influences them, who they are around, and who speaks things into their life.  So, guard your hearts.
